  1. Notes/Comments

Hey guys, what do you think of adding a feature where you can drop a small pin icon onto the wireframe and add notes/comments to this pin?

Then when you preview the wireframe you can hover the pin and it reveals the notes.

The current comment feature doesn't really allow to be specific to an area with ease and the notes is too obtrusive to the wireframe.

I believe UX Pin does something similar to this. Although one of the few things they do well.

    Hi guys,

We’re happy to announce that the new Moqups Beta (available at https://app.moqups.com ) comes with a much needed revamp of the comments feature.

How it works now is that you can drop comments directly on the page, that open up to reveal the conversation for that particular spot on the page.

    Hope you’ll like it!

    Best regards,
    Dan from Moqups

  2. Add fonts

I know this is a mockup tool and so the comic sans font is a good fit for the sort of half-baked look you want a very early mockup to have but I would love to have the option to change the font, since typography can completely change how convincing a mockup / early design looks.

I suggest you introduce a web-font selector and a way to upload a web-font for users to use their own fonts or others from around the web, plus a few defaults that you can have via the settings drop drown for example.

    Much respect…

    Hi guys,

We’re happy to announce that the new Moqups Beta (available at https://app.moqups.com ) includes the full set of Google Web Fonts.

By default, only a selection of fonts are visible in the font selector, but you can enable the full list by going to “More text options” and unchecking the “Show only featured web fonts” setting.

Let us know what you think :-)

    Best regards,
    Dan from Moqups

  3. Zoom feature

I woud love to zoom on certain elements. Maybe use the typical adobe scale and shortcuts.

  4. Group stencils

Please try to group stencils by type into fewer thumbnails on the left side bar. They are too many to scroll down to find what you are looking for... I know there is a search feature, but it really helps to browse through them when you don't have a clear idea on what you want to use :)

    Much apreciated!

    Otherwise good job!

  5. Reusable component groups

Ability to make a group some elements and convert them to a reusable item so if I edit one instance all the instances in all moqups get updated.

We’re happy to let you know that the new Moqups 2 beta ( https://app.moqups.com ) includes the ability to save your stencils as reusable templates. Just right click any stencil or group of stencils and then click “Save as template…”

From there you can always find your saved stencil templates in the dedicated Templates tab on the left sidebar.

We’d love to hear your feedback!

    Love,

  6. Grouping items

    Hello,
It would be better if you make possible to group selected elements by right clicking mouse and select make group

    7 votes
  7. Allow edit grouped objects without ungrouping

e.g. by double click, like it works in Balsamiq.

  8. Lock object / group

It would be great to lock individual elements / groups.

When working on large wireframes it sometimes gets a wee bit crowded and locking the location / not allowing the selection of elements would be a great feature.

Unlocking can be done via right click on a locked element.

It would be great to update the existing Twitter icon (t) to the approved Twitter bird logo in the icon set.

  11. Great tool, but you're missing some pretty basic features

    - Multi-stentil resizing
    - Stencil rotation
    - Image fill for rectangle/box/simple shapes
    - Transparency level for the colors

  12. Rotate objects

Sometimes is mandatory to rotate an object. I would be glad if Moqups could rotate an selected object. Balsamiqs does it hehehe

Rotation is finally here! This was a tough one and it required us to rewrite and rethink significant parts of the code (well, all the code).

You can now rotate pretty much everything, single or multiple objects. To rotate the objects, use the dedicated circle shaped handle on top of each selected object or enter the rotation angle manually in the Size & Position tab on the right sidebar.

The rotation feature is available in the new Moqups 2 Beta available here: https://app.moqups.com

We’d love to hear your feedback and questions!

  13. Rotation of objects

Created a triangle and was trying to get it pointing down rather than up but couldn't figure out a way to do that.

  15. use any font except comic sans!

The UI on the left is all in comic sans..... :/ i know its completely silly, but there are many mockup apps out there, so i can afford to be picky. And i reeeeeeeallly hate comic sans!

Additional font styles are now available when creating new projects. More advanced typography options and a great variety of (web)fonts are also planned for the future.

Thanks a lot for your feedback on this matter. It really helped us steer our decisions in a different direction than where our thoughts initially went.

  16. Arrows

Would love to see Arrow added to simple shapes, or its own shape.

But seriously folks, this is an amazing tool. I've used hotgloo and gliffy and this is leagues above them in usability. Keyboard shortcuts (working correctly on a mac too!), selection, option-drag duplication, all exactly how I expected. well done.

  17. Grid system options

It would be nice to have the option to define a grid system other than a square one, such as 960.gs or Blueprint, i.e., with columns and gutters.

    Presets for these would also be nice, i.e., 960.gs 12 column (60px with 20px gutter) or 16 columns (40px/20px) (http://960.gs/demo.html) or 24 column (30px/10px) (http://960.gs/demo_24_col.html / http://blueprintcss.org/tests/parts/grid.html).

(My apologies, I originally used the contact support option rather than public idea feedback as intended)

  18. Multiuser collaboration

Would be great to have the feature to work in collaboration with other user the same mokup.

Sites like https://cacoo.com/ has this kind of feature

  19. allow hyperlinks in the paragraph element

... by using for example the *star symbol to display a word as blue and underlined inside a paragraph.

  20. login

Allow users to use their email as their username so they don't have to keep track of yet another username to log in. Then just allow them to set a display name.
